SARANG PALOH HERITAGE STAY & EVENT HALL
This project I'm proposing for new interior design of Sarang Paloh Heritage Stay and Event Hall, located at Ipoh, Perak. In addition, this project is proposed for Semester Six during Bachelor Degree of Interior Architecture in Universiti Malaysia Kelantan.
THE ENTRANCE OF SARANG PALOH LOBBY
The name "Sarang Paloh" was combination of Malay word for nest and traditional Cantonese word for pa-loh, which means dam. The name was inspired by Mr. Lim who travels a lot which flying everywhere like a bird. By using the aviary theme in their hotel, they hope that the hotel will be able to create sense of belongingness to all the travelers here.
COURTYARD
As you can see, I'm still maintaining the Chinese Eclectic style in the building. It is because, to maintain the heritage building so that it does not lose it identity.
VOID AT COURTYARD
In this space, it is act as lighting and produces flow of air inside the building. And also act as taking out the hot air out. This area only used ceiling fan as more to sustainable project.
